And well,

it's the FLAVOURS OF THE ORIENT that I want to say - Peking Style Roasted Duck(北京烤鸭)

Peking Duck is a well-known delicious dish that has been prepared since imperial era. In some of the restaurant, Peking Duck is served in a ceremonial presentation where the duck is presented and slice in front of the diners. Traditionally, the crispy duck skin is served on the pancakes together with cucumbers, green onions and a sweet bean sauce. And the meat is then served separately as a second course.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and if you would like to have a tantalizing eating experience during this festive season, then i would recommend you to have a try on this tantalizing Peking Roasted Duck.

Flash back ; )
2010 has been an amazing year for me. Many great happenings ; )
Here are the top three list :

1)The most meaningful
Mom's birthday. My dad was the one who came out the idea of "Quints moment with mom"
Date : 10.10.10
Time: 10:10am
Venue: Ah
Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant

2)The most enjoyable
A trip to Port Dickson. (So called the reunion trip)

Fun time ; ) shall update on Port Dickson Trip soon!!

3)The most breakingthrough
A dental treatment : (
I hasn't step into the dental clinic ever since my last visit which was during my primary 6. Yes, I have phobia entering the dental clinic and ever seeing the dentist itself will kill me. Twelve years hasn't been through any dental check up or clean up, so can you image how "shitty" my teeth would be ; D
But everything has change till i really had no choice but to look for the "Expert" to save my teeth.

How often do you cook at home?

Frankly, i don't really cook at home unless my mom wasn't around and I'm really starving. Somehow, i love to watch cooking show and Jamie Oliver used to be one of my favorite chef ; )

It's was an coincident that i met a young(+good looking) chef in an event a month ago and i even got the chance to taste the dish that he had prepared. He is definitely a good cook and i like him ; )*ahem*

Back to the topic. Mom went for her year end holiday trip last month together with my aunt and my godmom and this means that we will have to settle meals for ourselves for about 3weeks long. However, my dad loves to eat home-cooked food and of course he don't mind bringing us out for dinner every day. But, we doesn't want to make him down, so me and huiwen decided to take up the "task" to prepare food for my family. Also, I cooked bak kut teh soup for them too (yeala..I brought those Bak Kut Teh pack)

Anyway, here are the few dishes that i personally think it is nice and easy to prepare and thus i would like to share with you guys. Who knows, you may want to try this at home ; )

American breakfast. This is simple to prepare. All you need is just oil/margerin and a frying pan ; )

Tom Yam Laksa with dumpling. Oh well,I actually used tom yam paste to make the soup ; )

Chicken Warpz. Yumm....

Alright, hope you will like it ; )

Cheers,
