Any recommended food in Malacca??

Oh yea..of course and there are plenty of Malay, Chinese and India dishes to savour. For example, the most famous Hainanese Chicken rice ball, Assam Curry fish and Satay Celup. However, the rich Peranakan culture in Malacca has also brought out a variety of delicious food which is known as "Nyonya Food". The Nyonya style of cooking is actually the result of a fusion between Chinese and Malay ingredients and recipes.

So, the first Nyonya Food that I recommend is the Nyonya Pineapple Tarts. I didn't know in Malacca they will have this Nyonya Pineapple tarts until Stephenie bought one for me to try on few months ago (p/s : The one that usually we eat during CYN is locally made and definitely not Nyonya) .
So, if you're looking for Malacca's local food , i think Nyonya Pineapple Tarts will be the a good choice. And, of course, you can find it easily at any shops along the Jonker Street.

The aroma of the pineapple tarts is strong enough to make you fall in love with it : )

Isn't great to have a cup of cendol when you are walking under a hot sun and you are so thirsty at the same time?! Yea,so let me bring you to DONALD & LILY's Nyonya House to have try. Well, from the name itself, we know this is a Nyonya-based restaurant that serve ONLY Nyonya Food and one of their famous food is the dessert - CENDOL.

It's sensationally sweet : )

Remember the Assam Curry Fish that i mentioned earlier?? No doubt, it's one of the famous food in Malacca too : )

Hing Long Taiwanese Noodles
Deep fried pork chop noodles. Correct me if I'm wrong :)
Basically, i can't remember where is this restaurant located but i know they have a branch in Petaling Jaya
SS 21/37, Damansara Utama.

Coming up next : Hainanses Chicken Rica Ball, Malacca
